Terms of service
Plain language, short sections, no traps — the same values as the app.
Last updated: 11 August 2026 · BlockWise is pre-launch; these terms cover this website now and the app at launch, and will carry final company details before the stores go live.
The agreement
These terms are between you and the BlockWise publishing company (a US entity; full registered details will appear here before store launch) and cover the blockwise.day website and, at launch, the BlockWise apps and web app (together, "BlockWise"). By using BlockWise you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use BlockWise — no hard feelings.
Your subscription
BlockWise is a paid subscription with a genuinely free first month: sign in, add payment details through the App Store or Google Play's own subscription sheet, and nothing is charged for one month. After that it renews automatically at the price shown on the paywall — $3.99/month or $29.99/year in Band A markets, with regional pricing elsewhere — until you cancel. The stores handle billing, receipts, currency, tax, refunds and cancellation; cancelling is one tap in your store's subscription settings and stops the next renewal. Cancel during the free month and you pay nothing. When web checkout launches, equivalent terms will apply and be shown at purchase.
Your content is yours
Everything you put into BlockWise — schedules, tasks, notes, uploaded logos, named people — belongs to you. You give us only the licence needed to run the service: storing, syncing, backing up and displaying your content to you and to services you connect. We claim nothing else. Export and deletion are self-service, as described in the privacy policy.
Upload only what you have the right to use — company logos included. You're responsible for your account's content, and for using features that name real people (interruption sources) fairly and lawfully.
What BlockWise records are — and aren't
BlockWise produces records of what you planned and logged at the time, protected by automatic sealing and an audit trail. That design makes your records credible; it doesn't make them a legal or tax opinion. Whether particular time qualifies for R&D relief, how disruption losses are pursued, and similar questions belong with your accountant, adviser or lawyer. BlockWise is a tool, not advice — and keeping sealed records truthful is your responsibility.
Fair use of the service
Don't break the law with BlockWise, don't try to break BlockWise (probing, scraping, reselling, abusing the API beyond your scoped keys), and don't use it to harass people. API and agent keys are for your account's use; you're responsible for what your connected agents do with the access you grant them. We can suspend accounts that threaten the service or other users — and we'll always say why.
Availability & changes
We build BlockWise to be reliable — local-first, offline-capable, continuously backed up — but no service is perfect, and BlockWise is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. We may add, change or retire features; if a change materially reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you in the app before it lands. Nothing in these terms removes protections consumer law gives you where you live, and nothing limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.
Our brand
The BlockWise name, mark and design are ours; the brand page explains fair press use. Your logos remain yours.
Ending things
You can stop any time: cancel the subscription, export your data, delete your account. We'd rather you left cleanly than felt trapped — that's the whole pricing philosophy.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date above changes, and material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. The current version always lives at blockwise.day/terms. Questions: hello@blockwise.day.
